Two Stages, One Growing Journey
Kindergarten at Buttercups includes Junior KG and Senior KG, allowing children to progress through age-appropriate experiences as their confidence, independence and understanding develop.
Junior KG (Ages 3.5–4.5 years)
Building strong foundations.
Junior KG encourages children to deepen their curiosity and develop foundational skills through hands-on, age-appropriate experiences.
Activities may include early literacy and phonics, language development, early mathematical concepts, sensorial exploration, practical life activities, creative expression, movement and discovery.
Senior KG (Ages 4.5–6 years)
Growing towards greater independence.
Senior KG represents the next stage of the Kindergarten journey, building on children's developing knowledge, confidence and independence while preparing them for the transition into formal schooling.
The programme is designed around age-appropriate learning and progressive development, with increasing opportunities for children to apply what they know, communicate confidently and take greater ownership of their learning.

As children grow, their learning becomes increasingly connected. They explore concepts through language, numbers, observation, creativity, movement and hands-on experiences.
